Nat Franklin

CEO & Principal
While still in his 20s, PMF Investments founder, Nat Franklin, began leading syndicated deals to acquire, develop and sell undervalued commercial properties in Southern California. He quickly made a name for himself due to his ability to identify opportunities with significant up-side, and because of his commitment to delivering superior returns to investors.

In 1994, Nat moved to the Northwest because of the region’s growth potential, and because he and his wife saw it as an ideal place to raise their family.  Since the mid-nineties, Nat has continued to grow PMF Investments’ property portfolio by acquiring commercial shopping centers in the Tri-Cities, Tacoma, Bellevue and Edmonds.

Throughout his career, Nat has owned and/or developed more than 3 million square feet of commercial properties. Personal integrity, disciplined investing in strategic locations and a long-term approach to development are the principles that have defined his career. Such an approach has enabled Nat to maintain longstanding relationships with tenants, city planners, elected officials, capital partners and other project partners.
Outside of his business ventures, Nat coaches youth soccer, baseball and basketball.  The passion he brings to sports not only stems from his desire to be a great coach, but also to serve as a steadfast mentor to youth from all backgrounds.  His constant message is: “If you think big and believe in yourself, anything is possible.”

Nat is a graduate of the University of Southern California where he earned a degree in business.  He lives in Bellevue with his wife, Diane.  They have four children.
